Bacteria in Water

July 8th, 2008 · No Comments

One can hardly open a newspaper or watch a television news report without learning of people getting sick from bacteria in water.  Worse yet, every once in a while we come across news about entire communities contracting strange ailments caused by the introduction of harmful bacteria into the public water supply.

Despite all the precautions taken by water professionals to prevent such outbreaks, once in a while something ‘breaks’ and harmful bacteria such as E. Coli, a bacteria strain well known for its ability to harm and even kill people, finds its way into public water supplies.

The public’s best defense against such events comes in the form of easy-to-use home water test kits for bacteria such as the  EZ Cult Bacteria Check - MUG, a 48 hour  water test kit for total coliform bacteria — which includes E. Coli.

While not a substitute for certified laboratory analysis, a ‘positive’ result from EZ Cult Bacteria Check - MUG test kit does give the person doing the test a good reason to get their water looked at by a certified laboratory.
