We utilize the web based site Constant Contact for email marketing. We received notification that we’ve been named a Constant Contact All-Star for 2008. This is a select group of customers that they wanted to recognize for setting a “great example for other email marketers” In plain English; we’ve “maintained sound permission-based email marketing and list management best practices.”
At the end of 2008, less than 15% of Constant Contact’s more than 250,000 customers met their All Star requirements.
* Averaged a bounce rate less than 25%
* Averaged an open rate of 15% or higher
* Sent emails regularly (during 3 of 4 quarters in 2008)
* Received no compliance related complaints or inquiries
* Used the service for a minimum of 2 consecutive years by the end of 2008
