ITS develops a new method for testing Peracetic Acid levels

April 29th, 2010 · 1 Comment

Peracetic acid is a disinfectant and powerful oxidizer, used in a wide range of applications primarily in the food industry. We are proud to announce our newest visual test strip method – WaterWorks™ Peracetic Acid (#480065) test strips.

WaterWorks™ Peracetic Acid test strips are a quick and reliable way to check water quality without the hassle of reagent drops or bulky test kits. This easy visual dip and read method takes only 32 seconds. Simply dip the strip into the sample for 2 seconds, shake and wait 10 seconds for color development and match the strip to the color blocks within 20 seconds. The strip’s low detection levels are 0, 2, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 100 ppm. No sample dilution is required and a 3-year shelf life makes the WaterWorks™ Peracetic Acid the preferred choice for Peracetic Acid field testing levels. WaterWorks™ Peracetic Acid test strips are available for $9.99 for 50 tests.

We’ve also released the new eXact Micro reagent strip for Peracetic Acid (#486670) for use with the eXact Micro 7+ advanced photometer (#486691).
