The Vee Gee line of handheld analog refractometers are very simple to use and provide quick and accurate measurements for the concentration of nearly any aqueous solution. Just place 1 or 2 drops of your sample on the prism, close the daylight plate over the sample, and look through the eyepiece for your reading.
